Jean-Francois Rouchon

Did you say “lyrical” ?

Jean-François ROUCHON has sung several hundred songs and lieder in concert. This favourite repertoire, which he has studied in depth with internationally renowned artists and performs with leading partners, goes hand in hand with operatic baritone roles (Pelléas, Papageno…) and oratorio roles.

Author of a doctoral thesis (Music: research and practice) on the melodies of Charles Bordes, Jean-François ROUCHON is a researcher in various fields: critical editing, digital humanities applied to the field of singing, development of tools for teaching.

The taste for transmission

Jean-François ROUCHON is a lyrical singing teacher at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and is regularly invited to take part in music academies and masterclasses in France and abroad. He also supervises a training course on the singing repertoire for teachers.
